, /PRNewswire/ -- Principle Health Systems, a major provider of mobile diagnostic services to long-term care facilities across the Southern and Central United States, announced the acquisition of select assets from a mobile diagnostic imaging company serving the greater St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas. The transaction extends Principle's portable imaging services into a new metropolitan market and adds bedside X-ray, ultrasound and EKG capabilities for long-term care partners across the region.
The acquisition brings experienced imaging technologists, mobile equipment and established facility relationships into Principle's operations. Facilities in the area can expect continuity of the bedside service they rely on today, now backed by Principle's scheduling, reporting and support infrastructure. By keeping diagnostic imaging inside the facility, Principle enables care teams to act on results sooner, avoid unnecessary resident transports, and keep diagnostic workflows simple for facility staff.
