NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS! Allen | Dallas | Irving | Lewisville. No Waitlist — Get Started Today! Compassionate ABA that helps every child steer toward a confident, independent future.

The initiative will launch at The Helm ABA's Irving location, with Medicaid services expanding later in 2026 to other Dallas-Fort Worth locations in Allen, Dallas, and Lewisville. The expansion reflects the organization's commitment to helping more families access individualized, evidence-based autism services regardless of insurance coverage.

"Expanding access to Medicaid services is an important milestone for The Helm ABA because every family deserves quality, individualized autism care. Launching in Irving and expanding across our locations allows us to reach more children with services focused on meaningful progress, greater independence, and skills that matter in everyday life. We want families to feel supported, empowered, and confident that their child's unique needs are at the center of their care," said Tamar Kustoff, VP of Operations at The Helm ABA.

The Helm ABA's clinical philosophy centers on partnering with families to build meaningful, lasting skills so every child can navigate their world with confidence, joy, and independence. Rather than measuring success solely through data, the organization emphasizes outcomes that help children communicate their needs, participate in everyday activities, and build independence. Treatment is individualized to each child's strengths, needs, and goals, with caregivers as essential partners.

"Access to high-quality, individualized ABA care shouldn't depend on funding sources. By expanding our services to welcome Medicaid families, we are taking a vital step in fulfilling our foundational commitment to values-based, compassionate care. Every child deserves access to evidence-based therapy that empowers their growth, and every family deserves a partner dedicated to their child's unique potential. This expansion reflects who we are at our core: a practice driven by clinical excellence, equity, and an unwavering commitment to serving our whole community with the exceptional support it deserves," said Lacey Barbara, MEd BCBA LBA Irving Senior Clinical Director.

Alongside the Aetna Better Health launch, The Helm ABA is working toward participation with additional payors. These efforts reflect its broader commitment to reducing barriers to care and building sustainable access to autism services for Medicaid-enrolled families.
